"I knew football is going to be what want to do in the future because I never got tired of it."

What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Parth Bargat, I am from Mumbai, India.

What are you doing now?

Right now I am studying Football studies in Solent University.

How would you describe yourself?

I am very shy at first and take a long time to warm up to people. Other than that, I am just a fun person to hang out with, super chill.

Tell me a little bit about the place you grew up in.

Mumbai is a city of entertainment. Growing up was always fun. The city is always crowded, all the time. No matter when you step out of the house, there will be people. Also, there are many modes of transports there, so if you are out till late, there will not be any problem for you to head back home.

"Mumbai never sleeps, and I love that because I can always have fun no matter what time of the day." -Parth

What was your journey before you came here?

I was constantly having fun. School for me was just fun. Other than that, I started playing cricket when was young. Until I got older, my passion shifted to football. I knew football is going to be what want to do in the future because I never got tired of it. There are times where I would play football twice everyday.

What was the most memorable event in your life?

The most memorable event would be when two of my friends and I are leaving India to study overseas. Before we leave, our friends, there are about eleven people in total, we just went out and partied for five straight days. We would just go out and party and after we would travel the city till late at night. It was really fun and emotional. Before sending one of my friend who was going to the United States, late at night, we travelled all the way to South Bombay, a city where we all love and just hung out until it was time for him to leave.

Are there any moment in your life where you wished you could rewind time?

The only thing I would change would be that I never started cricket but football first.

Who do you look up to?

I look up to football players Fernando Torres, Zinedine Zidane, Diego Costa and rapper Eminem. Fernando Torres is the one that got me started playing football. Zinedine Zidane is a football player I look up because he just have such elegance while playing football, and Diego Costa just because he is so crazy, he will do anything to win a game. As for rapper Eminem, he has songs for every occasion, if you are sad, happy, or angry, he always have a song catered to your emotions.

What are your aspirations?

Right now, I just aspire to cook good food, but in the future, definitely I hope to do something in football.

Give me one quote in life you stand by.

“You can do anything you set your mind to”, from the song Lose Yourself by Eminem.
